Free Youth Entrepreneurship Biz Camp [Virtual]

TURN YOUR IDEA INTO A BUSINESS

Los Angeles Urban League has partnered with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) to create Biz Camp. Designed as a four-week summer program, this free youth entrepreneurship summer camp is both fun and intense.

Students will:

· Hear from local business leaders

· Learn critical thinking skills

· Practice public speaking

· Develop a business plan and sell actual products

· Learn what it takes to be your own boss



Biz Institute Dates: July 6 - July 30, 2021

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Cost: FREE

Location: Virtual Class - ZOOM MEETINGS

Biz Institute is a FREE intensive VIRTUAL youth entrepreneurship program, including interactive activities, guest speakers, aimed at providing students with a solid business background and actually launching their business.

During the course of the program, students will compete in business plan competitions to earn cash awards to fund their business.

Mandatory Parent and Student Orientation: Zoom Interviews for the student and the parents must be conducted prior to acceptance into the program.

Stipends Students do not receive stipends to be a part of this program. The goal is to encourage students to make money from their actual business.
